At 17 years old, Daveatte Butler Jr. is rapidly emerging as a notable talent in motorsports. His passion for cars began at age 9, after attending numerous car shows, NASCAR and Monster Jam events with his dad.  These experiences fueled his dream of one day getting behind the wheel.

 Early on, despite not having much professional guidance to help him carve his path, he started with video games such as NASCAR Heat and Forza Horizon to gain experience. Unlike many pro drivers, who traditionally come from  racing families,  Daveatte will be the first in his family to create a legacy in the sport. However, his determination to do so has never wavered.  

 Currently, Daveatte is in his premier season, SIM racing on the iRacing platform.  In just a short period of time, he is demonstrating his talent, by already earning two 1st place certificates in the Street Stock Fanatec  Rookie Series and Formula Vee Series.  One step closer as he works towards qualifying for the prestigious e-NASCAR Coca Cola Cup Series.  When not racing on the SIM, he spends time karting at his local Kartplex, perfecting his skills, improving his lap times and competing in seasonal kart racing series. This hands-on experience has also been crucial in preparing him for his future in racing

Outside of racing, Daveatte excels as an athlete. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, with multiple regional tournament medals for combat and weapons sparring. His dedication and competitive spirit are evident in track and field as well, having been selected to run the 100M and 200M for his high school varsity team since his freshman year.

In the fall of 2025, Daveatte will attend the NASCAR Technical Institute in Moorseville, NC.  He not only plans to gain practical skills in automotive performance technology, but will also garner the relationships and experience he will need to excel his career in the motorsports industry.

Daveatte’s journey exemplifies passion and perseverance. With his unwavering ambition and drive. His future in motorsports looks incredibly promising.  His admiration for drivers like Bubba Wallace and Rajah Caruth help him to continue believing that his dreams are too possible to achieve.
